This is a Velux foundation supported interdisciplinary research project aimed at getting insights into the population of Ribe from Viking Age to Early Modern times through archaeological, chemical and anthropological methods. The project is a collaboration between Sydvestjyske Museer in Ribe, CHART (Cultural Heritage and Archaeometric Research Team at University of Southern Denmark) and ADBOU.
PhD projects by ADBOU staffs Dorthe Dangvard Pedersen and Peter Tarp are part of this research project.
