Jesper L. Boldsen long time head and founder of ADBOU has retired. New head of the collection and research unit is Dorthe Dangvard Pedersen.

From July 2024 we will start the work on a larger project involving development and application of a database that will aid in the digitalization of the skeletal collection. The project is supported through grants from Augustinusfonden and Aage og Johanne Louis-Hansen fonden.

The cleaning and moving of all 9,000 boxes with skeletal remains in the ADBOU collection has come to and end. The skeletons have been moved from the storage building at Lucernemarken to new storage facilities at SDU campus.
